One former Secretary to di Government of di Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal , Wednesday talk say if di national leader of di All Progressive Congress, APC, wey be Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, lose for di forthcoming presidential election, im (Tinubu) go dey house.
Babachir stated am in Abuja, immediately after one support group submit Tinubu presidential expression of interest and nomination forms.
Dem submit di nomination form by one team of Tinubu’s supporters wey di governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Secretary to di Government of di Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
One support group – Tinubu Support Group TSG don earlier pick di nomination forms dem for May 30 APC Presidential primary.
Addressing journalists after dem submit di forms, di former SGF talk say even tho Tinubu dey for di race to win, e remain and democrat and no go upset di applecart if e lose.
He say; “We feel elated/glad say today we don come to submit di winning form and we don complie with one of di major requirements of di party wey dey contest for presidency on di platform of APC. We don do all di tins wey dey required, we don submit all di required documents dem. As you dey see, we done receive our acknowledgement copy and we dey confident say victory go be our own come 30th May during di convention.
“We be democrats and we believe say if dem be one million contestants for di platform of APC we go carry majority of di delegates for di convention. So, di more di merrier, all right of dem dey welcome. We dey 100% prepared.
“challenges no dey. We be politicians, we don dey inside dis game for many years. Whatever challenges wey dey, we don already convert dem into opportunities.
“Asiwaju na democrat. Every politician not suppose dey afraid of di election because di probabilities dey two: either you win or you lose. So, if we lose for di convention we go dey go back home, we go lick our wounds and we go prepare to support di winner if e con emerge for free and fair manner”, he add.
