“I no dey run as northern candidate. I Dey do my running as Nigerian Presidential aspirant and so dia for, I Dey com wit all my qualifications dem for dat office and make people judge me on di tins wey I get to offer,” Lawan talk am for Katsina.

“I be participant for dis government and I Dey use dat as one advantage wey I get. Even though I be parliamentarian, I get some experience for govovernance. Real experience. So, we dey go round to tell Nigerians say we dey available.
“Di fact say we com out last dey speak plenty volume, because I no just wake up one morning to go talk and say I wan be President. Di tin take plenty time for dose people wey beliv in me to talk to me to also dem throw my hat inside ring. And after some time, I accept am.
“And dat is to say, some people no dey satisfied with dose people wey dey see and dey tink say we fit do better. Me I get great deal of respect for dose people wey dey also run. I mean say di oda Presidential candidate dem.
“And I beliv say I get my advantages and I go use my advantage by di Grace of God to come out as candidate of our party and also to win di general elections.
“And I no dey run like pesin from northeast, I Dey do my running as Nigerian becos I beliv say I understand di issues to take develop Nigeria today.
“And as participant for dis administration, I know say dis administration don succeed for some ways and dem neva succeed as much for odas and dia for, di area in wey we don succeed, na for me to continue to dey build ontop dem.
“Dose areas wey don find ourself for deficit, wey we fit no dey able to succeed as much, na for us to work ontop am.
I be product of dis administration and my party and so I Dey commit myself to di idea of my party.
“I dey commit myself to di ideals of dis administration becos say e dey take every effort by everybody to take bring development. Mr President go dey finish im term for 2023 as all of us know but his ideals still dey dia and im ideals na to develop our country,” Lawan talk.

“It go be 23 years on di 4th of June dis year wey I don dey for di National Assembly. My experience, I believe, dey aadequate becos I don work with people like you(Governor Masari) and today, I Dey work with our President, wey be President Muhammadu Buhari wey dey leading di APC administration.
“For me, dis one na experience wey I like. Dis na experience wey make me think say I get the capacity, say I get di ability, say I get di training, say I get di audacity and di courage to stay for dat office wey dey Abuja, for di Villa, to take lead di affair of di country with people like you wey go around me.
“E no dey abnormal say One Senator fit be President. For US, even di current President wey be (Joe Biden) na Senate e dey befor. Former President Obama sef na for Senate and therefore I believe say, coming from the Legislature, and with experience from Executive becos I bin don dey work very close with President, I don requisite experience to take lead di affairs of dis country,” Lawan talk.
For his response, Governor Masari wey describe Lawan as very reliable and dependable person, talk say, “When he call me, I tell am him e suppose go oda places becos anything dey possible, whatever we fit do for am, we go do am,” Masari talk.
