DI Federal Government don declare Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd May 2022 as Public Holidays to take mark dis year Workers Day and EIdul-Fitr Celebrations.

He talk say di Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, make di declaration on behalf of di Federal Government.
For di statement he congratulate workers wey dey across di country on dis year’s celebration.
“Ogbeni Aregbesola commende workers for dia hard work, diligence and sacrifice, con add join say dia effort dey largely responsible for di greatness of di country and di respect Nigeria now command for di comity of nations.
“Labour na di very essence of humanity. We dey alive because we dey work and na only di dead dey incapable to bo do work” , di statement add.
Di minister enjoined workers say make dem imbibe di culture of productivity, say “di end of work na productivity. Say na productivity dey lead to di satisfactory provision of goods and services and even wealth creation. Na therefore, di path to national and individual prosperity”.
E con encourage workers say Make dem raise di bar of dia trade-in line with di President Muhammadu Buhari led administration’s drive to rev up di vehicle of governance and to make all di people of Nigeria derive maximum benefit from di nation.
“Di Minister also congratulate all Muslims ontop di successful completion of di holy month of Ramadan.
Ogbeni Aregbesola call on all Muslims say make dem imbibe and practice all di good virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, self-denial, sacrifice and good neighbourliness, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
“Say di self-restraint, self-denial, sacrifice and deep spiritual consciousness wey dey accompany di fasting period say make e no end but dem maintain and improve upon, in order to take be better person and true worshipper”, di minister also advised all Muslims.
