Police Invite Burna Boy For InvestigationAfter police invite Burna Boy for question, the Lagos state police command deny the claims where Burna Boy management say him don honor police investigation wey him get on November 20th.

Remember say the Lagos State Police commissioner, Edgal Imohimi, for press conference in the command headquarters say Burna Boy na a person of interest in the investigation o Mr 2kay robbery attack for Eko Hotel last month.


The commissioner publicly announce say make Burna Boy immediately report to the nearest police station for questions as be say suspects wey them arrest mention him name as the main man behind the robbery of fellow music act Mr 2Kay.

As them react to the news, Burna Boy management release one statement later where them claim say him don honor the police invitation.

The first and only invitation Burna Boy has ever received from the police was issued yesterday November 20th, 2017. This invitation was honored yesterday November 20th, 2017 and it has been made clear that he is happy to cooperate with the police as best as he can. It is pertinent to note that he was never served an arrest warrant nor has he been declared wanted’

However, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Olarinde Famous-Cole, talk say na only Burna Boy father, Samuel Ogulu, wey come the station yesterday after the press conference come talk say Burna Boy no dey the country and that as soon as him come back Nigeria, him go come the command headquarters.
