The spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Bisi Kazeem, confirm the sad incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) for Abuja on Friday, September 15.
Kazeem reveal say the accident happen around that kind 8 p.m. for Km 95 around the Elebolo Quary Area for the Ibadan axis of the road.
Him also say 10 people injure for the accident wey involve 40 people and two Mazda buses.
In quote him say,
“The crash occurred at a construction site, and it resulted from route and speed violations.
“This has further underscored the Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi’s advice to motorists to avoid night journeys, be careful around construction sites and drive within approved speed limits.”
According to the reports, Kazeem say rescue operations by FRSC officials, wey come the scene shortly after the incident end for 2:42 a.m. on Friday.
Him say the corpses dey deposited for Adeoyo Yemetu Hospital mortuary, Ibadan and the ones wey injure dey University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, and Adeoyo Yemetu Hospital.
